Refund Policy
Last updated: August 8, 2026
This Refund Policy explains how billing, cancellation, and refunds work for paid Token Watch subscriptions. Token Watch is operated by Maksym Vostruhin, an individual entrepreneur (FOP) registered in Ukraine. You can subscribe through two channels, and the refund rules that apply to you depend on where you subscribed, because each channel has its own reseller who takes the payment and processes any refund. This policy forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Which rules apply to your subscription
Find the channel you used to subscribe. If you are not sure, check your receipt: a Microsoft Marketplace subscription appears on your Microsoft or Azure invoice, while a Paddle subscription is confirmed by a receipt email from Paddle.
| Where you subscribed | Who takes the payment | Refund rules |
|---|---|---|
| Microsoft Marketplace | Microsoft, as reseller | Microsoft’s refund policy — see section 3 |
| Directly from us at app.aztokenwatch.com | Paddle, as Merchant of Record | Paddle’s Refund Policy — see section 4 |
Sections 5 to 10 apply to both channels.
2. Try before you pay
Token Watch offers a free tier so you can evaluate the Service before committing to a paid plan. We encourage you to use the free tier, and any trial offered on your plan, to confirm that Token Watch fits your needs before you are charged.
3. Subscriptions purchased through Microsoft Marketplace
If you subscribed through Microsoft Marketplace, Microsoft is the reseller: the charge is billed to your Microsoft or Azure billing account, and cancellations and refunds are processed by Microsoft under Microsoft’s Marketplace refund policy and the Microsoft Marketplace Terms of Use. In summary, and subject to Microsoft’s policy as it stands from time to time:
- Within 72 hours of purchase. You are eligible for a full refund of the subscription charge if you cancel the subscription within 72 hours of purchase. You can do this yourself from the Azure portal or the Microsoft Marketplace management page for the subscription.
- After 72 hours. Contact us at contact@aztokenwatch.com. If we approve your request, we raise a ticket with Microsoft to process the cancellation and refund through Marketplace. We consider these requests in good faith — for example, where the Service did not work as described, or you were charged after asking us to cancel.
- Free trials. A free trial can be cancelled at any time during the trial period. Once cancelled, it cannot be restarted.
- Metered and usage-based charges are not refundable.
Where Microsoft’s policy and this section differ, Microsoft’s policy governs what Microsoft will process for a Marketplace purchase. Nothing here limits your statutory rights (section 8).
4. Subscriptions purchased through Paddle
If you subscribed directly from us, our order process is handled by our Merchant of Record, Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd and its affiliates). Paddle is the reseller of the Service: your purchase contract for that order is with Paddle, and Paddle handles billing, invoicing, tax, and refunds. Refunds for these purchases are governed by Paddle’s Refund Policy, and this section is aligned with it. In summary:
- Statutory cancellation and withdrawal rights. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that grants a cooling-off period, you may cancel within that period and receive a refund. This is 14 days in the EU, EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland; shorter periods apply in some other jurisdictions (for example 7 days in Canada, Brazil, South Korea and China, and 5 days in Singapore). Paddle’s Refund Policy lists the current periods. Where a free trial applies, the period runs from the end of the trial.
- Digital content already accessed. Where you expressly asked for immediate access to the Service and consented to waive your withdrawal right at checkout, that right may no longer apply, as explained in Paddle’s Refund Policy.
- Outside those periods. Transactions are generally non-refundable, and we do not refund partial billing periods, unused time, or features you did not use. However, we and Paddle will consider requests outside these periods on a case-by-case basis and may approve a refund at our discretion — for example, where the Service did not work as described, or you were charged after asking us to cancel.
- How to request a refund. Use the “Manage subscription” or “View receipt” link in your Paddle receipt email, visit paddle.net, or email us at contact@aztokenwatch.com and we will raise it with Paddle.
- How refunds are paid. Approved refunds are issued by Paddle to your original payment method, normally within 14 days.
Where this section and Paddle’s Refund Policy differ, Paddle’s Refund Policy governs.
5. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel at any time — from within the Service or, for a Marketplace subscription, from the Azure portal. When you cancel:
- your subscription will not renew, and you will not be charged again;
- your paid features remain available until the end of the billing period you have already paid for; and
- after that period ends, your account moves to the free tier (or is closed, if you choose).
Outside the refund windows described in sections 3 and 4, cancelling stops future charges but does not by itself generate a refund for the current period.
6. Billing errors and duplicate charges
If you believe you were charged in error — for example, a duplicate charge or a charge after a valid cancellation — contact us within 30 days of the charge. We will look into it with Microsoft or Paddle, depending on how you subscribed. If an error is confirmed, it will be corrected, including a refund issued through that channel where appropriate. This applies regardless of the refund windows above.
7. Fraud and refund abuse
Refunds may be declined where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behaviour, in line with the policies of Microsoft and Paddle. This does not affect any non-waivable statutory right you may have.
8. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction. Where such law gives you a right to cancel or to a refund that cannot be excluded, that right continues to apply regardless of the terms above and regardless of which channel you used.
9. Chargebacks and disputes
If something looks wrong with a charge, please contact us first — it is almost always faster than a chargeback, and we would rather fix the problem. If a chargeback is raised, access to paid features may be suspended while it is reviewed. Contacting us first does not affect your rights to dispute a charge with your card issuer or under consumer-protection law.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time, including to stay aligned with the policies of Microsoft and Paddle. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
